If I could be another person...

If I could be another person in history today or in the past, what would I be? Who would I want to be for an afternoon? I would probably want to be J.K. Rowling for one day to feel what she feels, and how she got to write what she wrote I’d love to be Leonardo Da Vinci for a day or two. Living in Italy in the 1400’s as a genius.

I’d love to be Picasso too. Who else would I want to be? Shweitzer whom I admire, who decided to become a doctor at 40 year old! Or Eleanor Roosevelt, as she inspire me very much. Or a literary Mozart! To feel the words slip through me into wonderful stories... Stephen King as he write a story... Mmm... I would want to be Benjamin Franklin to see how it is in his mind and see the world he lived in. I’d love to be one of Wright brother and feel the wonderful feeling of flying for real, or Armstrong, walking on the moon. If I could be someone else for a moment who else would I want to be? Helen Keller for not seeing, hearing talking just to feel what it is like to start to make sense with your environment for real after being so isolated psychologically.

If I could, I’d be Paul McCartney or Janis Joplin at Woodstock and feel what it was being there for real and sharing a wonderful experience but not stoned. A different Janis Joplin, I guess. I’d love to be Santa Claus if he existed. I’d love to fly being a “Fou de Bassan” or a Bernache du Canada or a Macareux Moine to dive in the ocean or a white stripe dolphin or a big blue whale.

But the more I think about it, the more I think that anyone of those people would pay millions to live the life I am living today. Leonardo would give all he had to drive my car, right? Benjamin Franklin too, just to talk with my boyfriend who is a computer engineer! Even J.K. Rowling would probably, from time to time go back in time when she was not known, right! Am I not lucky to be that person!!
